“I would highly recommend this FRCPath revision series. It is well laid out with all major topics covered in a manageable workload each week to ensure you are prepared for your exam. I have found the structured layout crucial, as otherwise I would default to revising the areas I have a greater interest in. The 4 blocks covering general, malignant, coag and transfusion mean that all my bases are covered. Each week pre lecture preparation materials are sent out which include links to relevant guidelines or handy podcasts. There is also usually a practice question. The combination of pre course work, live session where we can ask questions and feedback on our written answers means that you can a thorough understanding of each topic and have a chance to test yourself as you go. Even if you are not sitting the exams I would recommend this to all 1st-2nd year haematology registrars. I wish I knew about this last year!”
