FRCPath Part 1 Haematology Exam Preparation Course by ClinHaem
Serious teaching, light-hearted delivery — a supportive course designed to make FRCPath Part 1 prep less stressful, more effective, and even enjoyable.
Intended audience: This course is designed not only for exam candidates but also for junior trainees beginning their journey in haematology.
Overall Plan
The course covers all the major subspecialties of haematology, with weekly sessions and dedicated practice weeks built into each theme. The structure follows the haematology curriculum on which the exam is based:
- Weeks 1–7: General Haematology (practice session in week 7)
- Weeks 8–13: Haemato-oncology (practice session in week 13)
- Weeks 14–18: Transfusion Medicine (practice session in week 18)
- Weeks 19–25: Haemostasis & Thrombosis (practice session in week 25)
- Week 26: Grand Mock (all four domains, finishing a few weeks before the exam to allow time for self-directed learning)
A detailed weekly plan of exact topics is shared with participants in the WhatsApp group.
Course Format
- Live sessions with interactive Q&A every Saturday (or Sunday) at 9:00 am
- Mondays: resources shared for the upcoming topic (guidelines, recommended textbook chapters, podcasts, etc.)
- Practice sessions at the end of each block, with personalised feedback shared with the group
- Ongoing support via a dedicated WhatsApp group
- Recordings of all sessions available for revision
Fee Structure & Support
Whilst course fees support development and running costs, ClinHaem is committed to making its courses accessible to all.
- First 4 weeks: Free
- Ongoing access: £20 per month
- Recordings (full series): £100 one-off payment
